John Zegers, Director of Georgia's Center of Innovation for Manufacturing spoke with Miura Manufacturing America's Mark Utzinger about Miura’s innovative and environmentally friendly “green” steam boilers, which conserve energy and resources and reduce emissions through their highly efficient, computer-controlled design.
Also discussed in the podcast is Miura Manufacturing America’s new $15 million, 100,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Rockmart, Georgia, which is where Miura’s advanced industrial boilers are made. Since opening in 2009, the facility has solidified itself as one of the biggest employers in the city of Rockmart.
"We found that Rockmart, Georgia was in a very good location within the U.S.," Utzinger explains. "There's a lot of growth in the south versus the north, so we can handle both the northeast as well as the southeast and the midwest very handedly from here."
